What should a simple invoice include?

Your business name and contact, the client's name, a unique invoice number, the date and due date, a clear description of the work, the amount due, payment terms and your bank details. Anything less invites delays and follow-up questions.

When is a simple template enough?

Freelancers, sole traders and anyone sending a handful of invoices a month rarely need more. If a corporate client deducts withholding tax, toggle WHT on and the deduction shows as its own line.
