An invoice builder built for Nigerian businesses
Invoice maker tools built overseas expect you to hunt for naira in a long currency list and skip the details that matter here. This one starts in naira, knows Nigeria’s 7.5% VAT, and gives you a place for your bank name, account name and account number so clients never have to ask.
It works for freelancers, sole traders, agencies, consultants and small businesses, on a laptop or on your phone, with no account to create.
A clean invoice, with nothing of ours on it
Many free invoice tools quietly stamp their own name on your work: a small “made with” line at the bottom, their logo in the header, a banner asking your client to upgrade, or a link back to their site. Your client sees it, and it makes your business look like it is borrowing someone else’s tool.
We do none of that. The invoice you download contains only what you typed. There is no watermark, no advert, no promotional line, no “generated free” note and no link back to us, so your client sees your business and nothing else.
Anything you leave empty is simply left off the page. You start from a clean, blank invoice that fills in with your details, your client and your numbers, and prints like it came straight from your own office.
How to create an invoice in Nigeria
- Add your business name, contact details and, if you have one, your logo.
- Add the client’s name and contact details.
- Describe each item or service with a quantity and unit price. The totals calculate as you type.
- Turn on VAT if you charge it, and show WHT if your client deducts tax at source.
- Add your bank details, then download the PDF or share it to WhatsApp, email or any app.
What a proper Nigerian invoice should include
- Your business name and contact details
- The client’s name and contact details
- A unique invoice number
- The invoice date and payment due date
- A clear description of the goods or services
- The amount due, with VAT or WHT where they apply
- Payment terms and your bank account details
Skip any of these and you invite the two most common delays: the client asking you to resend your account details, and a dispute over when payment was due.
Invoice, proforma and receipt
Use the same tool for all three. An invoice asks for payment after delivery, a proforma invoice quotes the cost before delivery, and a receipt confirms you have been paid. Switch between them at the top of the form. Each one opens its own tool, and everything you typed carries over.
