Mataset Pre-launch Page

In crypto, trust is the product. Mataset had to earn it before it had anything to sell.

The starting point

Mataset started as an idea. No product, no users, no proof. Just a plan for a platform where people could move between NGN, USD, GBP, EUR and cryptocurrencies at good rates.

The first job was not to build the app. It was to find out whether anyone wanted it, and to make the brand look credible while it did.

The hardest part was trust

Crypto is a crowded and suspicious market. Every week another platform promises the best rates, and every week another one disappears with people's money. Standing out here is not a design problem. It is a credibility problem.

So the page had one job: make a stranger comfortable enough to leave an email. That means a clear promise, real social proof, and no clutter in the way.

What we built

A single, fast pre-launch page.

• A promise a person can remember and repeat: swap currencies, quick as a hiccup.
• The thing actually being built, in plain terms: fiat and crypto swaps across NGN, USD, GBP, EUR and cryptocurrencies.
• Social proof built into the page, so a visitor can see they are not the first to join.
• One action, repeated everywhere: join with an email.
• A distinctive look, so the brand was memorable long before it had a product.

The result

About 1,300 people joined the waitlist. For a two-week build with no product to show, that is a real signal. It told the team there was appetite, and it gave them a list of people to launch to.

Spend less time pre-launch.
